Ops Note
Day 1 is kept light on purpose: the City Walls move to the morning of day 3, before cruise traffic. The cable car operates April to November and is closed December to March; it stops in strong wind or when lightning is possible (operator timetable, checked 22 Oct 2026). We set the ride time by the sunset on the date; if the wind is up, the ride moves to the evening of day 2.

The boat runs on the sea forecast. If day 2 is ruled out, we swap days 2 and 3: Konavle and Cavtat go on the bad-weather day and the Elafiti boat moves to day 3 (back by about 17:00, so it suits departures from about 19:30). Only if neither day works do we offer a Montenegro day instead, which adds a border crossing each way. Group boat with lunch included; private boat upgrade available.

Walls opening and last-entry times change by season, so we book the entry slot per date with the walls operator; clients need comfortable shoes for 1,940m on uneven stone. The full day suits departures after about 18:00. For earlier flights we keep the walls and Cavtat and drop Konavle.

"Is 3 days enough for Dubrovnik?"
It's ideal for a highlights experience. The Old Town is walkable in a day, the islands need one day, and the third covers the walls and the countryside. For clients wanting more, we add nights and a Montenegro or Mostar day per brief.
"What about the Game of Thrones crowds?"
We keep the busy hours out of the Old Town: the guided walk runs late afternoon on day one, after most cruise passengers are back on board, and the walls are done first thing on day three. Our guides know the quiet spots.
"Is the hotel included?"
Yes, if you want it: two nights with breakfast in a central hotel inside or within walking distance of the Old Town, never out on the edge of town. If you book the hotel yourself, we quote the ground services only.
"Can we skip the islands?"
Absolutely—we can swap for a longer Konavle day with a wine stop, or a Montenegro day trip (one border crossing each way). The 3-day structure stays the same.
