Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the Balkan Travel Ops website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are entering into this agreement on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity.

Our services are provided exclusively on a B2B (business-to-business) basis for travel advisors, tour operators, and travel industry professionals.

Services Description

Balkan Travel Ops provides destination management services including:

  • Ground transportation and transfers
  • Licensed guide services
  • Activity and excursion bookings
  • Accommodation reservations
  • Restaurant and venue bookings
  • Itinerary design and logistics coordination
  • On-ground support during travel

All services are subject to availability and may vary based on seasonality, local conditions, and supplier capacity.

Booking Process

Inquiries and Quotations

Quotations are provided based on current rates and availability. Prices are subject to change until booking confirmation. Quotations typically remain valid for 7 days unless otherwise specified.

Confirmation

A booking is confirmed only when:

  • You receive written confirmation from our operations team
  • Required deposit or payment has been received
  • All necessary client information has been provided

Payment Terms

Standard payment terms:

  • Deposit: 30% upon confirmation
  • Balance: 14 days prior to service date
  • Peak season bookings may require different terms

Payment methods and specific terms will be detailed in your booking confirmation.

Cancellation Policy

Standard cancellation terms (calculated from first service date):

  • 30+ days: Full refund minus administrative fee
  • 15-29 days: 50% of total cost
  • 7-14 days: 75% of total cost
  • Less than 7 days: 100% of total cost

Some services (peak season bookings, special events, specific suppliers) may have stricter cancellation terms which will be communicated at time of booking.

Modifications

We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate changes to confirmed bookings. Modifications are subject to:

  • Availability of alternative services
  • Any price differences
  • Administrative fees where applicable
  • Supplier modification policies

Client Information

You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information including:

  • Passenger names (as per travel documents)
  • Contact details
  • Special requirements (dietary, accessibility, etc.)
  • Flight/arrival details
  • Any relevant health or mobility information

We are not liable for issues arising from incorrect or incomplete information.

Liability

Our Responsibility

We act as an intermediary between you and local service providers. We exercise care in selecting suppliers but are not liable for:

  • Acts or omissions of third-party suppliers
  • Events beyond our control (weather, strikes, natural disasters, political situations)
  • Personal injury or property damage except where caused by our direct negligence
  • Consequential or indirect losses

Force Majeure

We are not liable for failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, terrorism, pandemics, government actions, or supplier failures.

Limitation of Liability

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the total amount paid for the relevant services.

Insurance

We strongly recommend that all travelers have comprehensive travel insurance covering:

  • Trip cancellation and interruption
  • Medical expenses and evacuation
  • Personal belongings
  • Third-party liability

Proof of insurance may be required for certain activities.

Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, images, logos, and itinerary designs, is protected by intellectual property rights. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without written permission, except for legitimate business purposes related to booking our services.

Website Use

The Itinerary Builder and other website tools are provided for legitimate business use. You agree not to:

  • Use automated systems to access the website
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access
  • Use the website for unlawful purposes
  • Misrepresent your identity or affiliation

Confidentiality

Pricing, supplier information, and other business details shared between parties shall be kept confidential and not disclosed to third parties without consent.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Severability

If any provision of these terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in effect.
