30-Second Pitch

"Sarajevo is unlike anywhere else in Europe. You walk from Ottoman mosques to Austro-Hungarian boulevards in five minutes. The city has this incredible energy—it survived a 4-year siege and came back stronger. The food is amazing, especially for Muslim travelers—everything is halal-friendly, from the famous ćevapi to the Bosnian coffee ritual. Two days gives you the old town, the war history, and the Olympic mountain views."

Common Objections
"Is it safe?"
Extremely. Sarajevo is one of Europe's safest capitals. The war ended 30 years ago, and today it's a vibrant, welcoming city. Crime is lower than most Western European cities.
"Is 2 days enough?"
For the highlights, yes. This covers Baščaršija, the war museum, and Trebević. For deeper exploration including day trips to Mostar, we recommend 3-4 days.
"What about halal food?"
Sarajevo is one of Europe's easiest cities for halal travelers. Most traditional restaurants are halal by default, and there are mosques throughout the old town.
